African Cichlids For Sale

African cichlids are one of the most aggressive freshwater tropical fish. African cichlids are highly predatory and extremely territorial. In the wild, African Cichlids often live together in groups or schools of like species. Mature african cichlids guard their territory. African Cichlids are not hospitable and may even behave aggressively to other fish, including cichlids of different species.

Algae eaters are a great addition to any aquarium, but it is important to regard them with the same status you give to all your other watery pets.  Make sure that you choose compatible species for your aquarium, and that you're providing them with what they need to live well in the long term. Always keep in mind, that algae eaters are helpers - algae combat is a daily concern that will always be your responsibility. Avoid making the very common mistake of thinking that just by adding an algae eater to your tank you can now forget about the issue!

Angelfish Fish For Sale

Angelfish or Pterophyllum originate from the Amazon River, Orinoco River and Essequibo River in tropical South America. Angelfish are unusually shaped for cichlids being greatly laterally compressed, with round bodies. Angelfish also have elongated triangular dorsal and anal fins. This angelfish body shape allows this freshwater angelfish to hide among roots and plants, often on a vertical surface. Naturally occurring angelfish are frequently striped longitudinally which provides additional camouflage protection. Angelfish are ambush predators and prey on small fish and macroinvertebrates. Its interesting that all Angelfish species form monogamous pairs. Angelfish eggs are generally laid on a submerged log or a flattened leaf. As is the case for other cichlids, brood care is highly developed with angelfish.
