Description
ambarellus shufeldtii is a small species of crayfish native to the Southern United States. The males reach a length of about 1.5 inches, while the females are somewhat smaller. They are easily bred in a tank, and kept by freshwater aquarists who commonly refer to them as Cajun dwarf crayfish. Their life expectancy is 2–3 years
